Veneered doors

Our veneered internal doors give you the warmth and grain of real wood without the movement or the cost of solid timber. A layer of real wood veneer is bonded to a stable engineered core — a softwood frame with MDF facings — so the door looks like solid wood but stays flat and true. Each door has its own fingerprint of nature: variations in colour and graining are natural and should be expected. Available veneers: radial oak, rustic oak, graphite oak, Canaletto walnut, wenge, ebony and sandalwood.

Prices start from €277 inc VAT per door. Every door is made to measure: widths 600–1000 mm, heights up to 2500 mm, rebated or flush finish, concealed frames and sliding systems available. We supply matching linings, architraves and hardware, and arrange delivery and fitting in Bratislava and the surrounding area. Lead time is 6–8 weeks.

Why choose a veneered door

Real wood veneer gives your interior a premium look and feel, with good thermal and sound insulation. Minor scratches can be repaired with lacquer, which is not possible with laminate. For bathrooms and other humid rooms we recommend painted doors instead — natural veneer does not tolerate high humidity. The shade of the veneer mellows slightly over time; that is the nature of real wood, not a defect.
