Most break-ins happen through the door — and the door leaf and frame are usually the weakest parts. Our Straj apartment doors are welded steel constructions with stiffening ribs: a 95 mm thick leaf including panels, three sealing contours around the perimeter and a thermal break. The locks are protected by a manganese steel plate and a 3 mm steel sheet against drilling, and the hinges have anti-lift pins. Selected models are certified to resistance class RC3 (EN 1627) with EI30 fire resistance — so the door also keeps out noise, smells and draughts from the stairwell.

For an apartment we recommend a door with multi-point locking and a reinforced steel frame — the old frame is usually the weakest point, so replace it together with the door.
